Hello! I'm Natasha and I'm delighted to share my passion for capturing beauty through painted paper collage. My art fuses nature's wonders—like Southwestern flora and fauna—with brilliant color and layered patterns and textures. If you resonate with this harmonious blend, you've found a kindred spirit.
Beauty is all around us. And when we are in the throes of pain and frustration, the best thing to do is to get out of our heads and look around. There is beauty in weather and light, and in small flowers pushing up through cracks in the pavement.
That beauty has the power to shift our perspective and focus away from our internal chaos… to the joy that pulses through all living things.
My mission, which I choose to accept, is to celebrate the beauty I see and share it with you through my art.
However, I did not always accept my mission.
As a child, I explored my passions through books and art. But in college, I chose stability over passion, with no mentors to guide my artistic dreams.
I worked various jobs, often secretarial, while pursuing creative projects on the side. In 1997, a henna kit reignited my passion for art, and by 2011, I was happily immersed in mixed media and collage while working full-time.
After my father's passing, I discovered beautiful paintings he'd never shared. This poignant moment reinforced the pursuit of my deepest dreams. I quit the day job, and became a full-time artist.
Beauty has the power to shift our focus from internal chaos to the joy that connects all living things. You deserve a home filled with beautiful items that bring happiness and calm. My art can help create that peaceful retreat or add a personal touch to your space.
