Backyard Birds: Mr. Lesser Finch

One of the more flashy visitors to our backyard bird feeder is Mr. Lesser Goldfinch. He hangs out with the Mrs. and prefers the sunflower seeds. This portrait was created with hand-painted ephemera using original stencil designs and hand-cut stamps. Local maps, sheet music, old textbook pages, and shopping lists were used.
